These rehearsals days and times will vary depending upon the availability of the cast during these times. So please be prepared to fill out a calendar of conflicts with these times at the auditions. Please be thorough.
Auditions Round 1: For children auditioning: You will be asked to sing a simple one-minute song. Please bring music in your desired key for the accompanist. You will be given a short paragraph to read. Please read it with a light British accent. After your song and reading, you may be asked to stay for further auditioning and to wait in the workshop, or you may be released to go home.
For adults auditioning: Please bring a 32 bar audition piece that highlights your range and skills as a vocalist. Please bring music in your desired key for the accompanist. You will be asked to read a short paragraph with a British and/or Yorkshire accent. After your song and reading you may be asked to stay for further auditioning and to wait in the workshop, or you may be released to go home.
Auditions Round 2: After the first round, if children and adults were asked to stay, they will be brought in to do further readings and have their ranges checked. A few Tuesday evening auditionees may be asked to return for Wednesday evening auditions for further auditioning.
If casting cannot be filled on Tuesday and Wednesday, Callbacks and/or additional auditions will be held on Thursday evening @7pm.
