Children’s Theatre Project Fall Show

The Community Players of Concord NH proudly announces auditions for our
24th Children’s Theatre Project mainstage production:

When: Sunday, May 19, 2019 from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
               Monday, May 20, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm
               Tuesday, May 21, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 pm

Auditions are by appointment. Contact Karen Braz at k.braz@comcast.net for an audition time. Audition slots are scheduled in 10-minute increments; plan to arrive early to fill out paperwork.

Where: The Community Players Studio at 435 Josiah Bartlett Rd., Concord, NH
Who: Auditions are open to young actors in grades 3 through 12.
What: For your audition please prepare a short, 1-minute memorized monologue, as well as 16 to 32 bars of a memorized song, which may be performed a cappella or with instrumental electronic accompaniment. You will also learn a short dance combination, and you will have
an opportunity to read a scene, or scenes, from the script. Please bring a recent photo; this will not be returned.

“FROZEN JR.” will rehearse Monday and Wednesday evenings, 6:00 to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday afternoons, 12:30 to 3:30 p.m., beginning on August 26th. Production Week begins Monday, October 14th (Columbus Day), and runs through Saturday, October 19th, with two performances on Friday, October 18th at 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, October 19th at 2:00 p.m. Cast and crew are expected at all rehearsals during production week, no exceptions. Please consider this when planning to audition, and especially if you are offered a role.

King Agnarr of Arendelle (father of Anna and Elsa)
Queen Iduna of Arendelle (mother of Anna and Elsa, related to Northern Nomads)
Kristoff (a mountain man and ice harvester)
Sven (Kristoff’s reindeer and loyal best friend)
Olaf (a goofy, magical snowman)
Hans (the Prince of the Southern Isles who secretly plans to be King of Arendelle)
Pabbie and Bulda (magical leaders of the Hidden Folk, adoptive parents of Kristoff)
Weselton (a rude Duke from a neighboring kingdom)
Oaken (a friendly wandering salesperson)
Bishop of Arendelle (in charge of Elsa’s coronation)
