Charlotte’s Web – October 18-19, 2024. Directed by Karen Braz.
Children’s Literature Association named this “the best American children’s book of the past two hundred years,” and playwright Joseph Robinette, working with the advice of E.B. White, has created a play that captures this work in a thrilling theatrical presentation. All the enchanting characters are here: Wilbur, the irresistible young pig who desperately wants to avoid the butcher; Fern, a girl who understands what animals say to each other; Templeton, the gluttonous rat who can occasionally be talked into a good deed; the Zuckerman family; the Arables; and, most of all, the extraordinary spider, Charlotte, who proves to be “a true friend and a good writer.” Determined to save Wilbur, Charlotte begins her campaign with the “miracle” of her web in which she writes, “Some Pig.” This is a beautiful play about friendship that will give the audience a beautiful evening of enchantment.

The Gods of Comedy – February 14-16, 2025. Directed by Betty Lent.
By Ken Ludwig (Lend Me A Tenor)
What do you do when you’re a Classics professor at one of the greatest universities in America and find a long lost manuscript by Euripides that will make you famous throughout the world? You lose it, of course. And then you call on the Ancient Greek Gods of Comedy to get you out of the mess. For young professor Daphne Rain, the first surprise is that the gods show up. And the second surprise is that any two people – even if they are gods – can wreak so much havoc on one university. The Ivy League will never be the same as a pair of screwball deities encounters the carnal complexity of college coeds, campus capers, and conspicuous consumption.
Our Town – May 2-4, 2025. Directed by Cindy Dickinson.
Thornton Wilder’s Our Town
Thornton Wilder’s Our Town is a timeless exploration of the human experience, set in the fictional small town of Grover’s Corners. Through its simple yet profound narrative, Wilder captures the everyday lives, dreams, and struggles of ordinary people as they navigate love, family, and mortality. The play’s innovative structure and minimalistic staging highlight the universality of its themes, offering a poignant reminder of the beauty and brevity of life. Our Town invites audiences to reflect on their own lives and the moments that make them truly meaningful, making it a deeply resonant and enduring work of American theater.
